I didn’t think it would be possible to eat sweet treats on this diet that were satisfying and tasty – but I was wrong. These brownies are divine and they don’t taste sugar free at all. I highly recommend trying them!

Sensational Gluten Free & Sugar Free Brownies!

Makes about 12 brownies

Ingredients

50g (½ cup) coconut flour
50g (½ cup) unsweetened cocoa powder
60g (½ cup) melted butter alternative (I used LowLow Avocado Spread)
3 eggs, at room temperature
120g (½ cup) coconut syrup
60g almonds & pecan nuts (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla extract (optional)




Directions

Preheat your oven to 150 degrees celcius. You will need an 8×8 baking tin (I don’t have a square one so I just used my round one).

Mix together all of the ingredients in a bowl by hand or using an electric mixer.

Pour it into your baking dish and bake for 30-35mins. It’s done when you can insert a knife into the centre and it comes out clean.

Leave to cool for 30 mins until removing from the pan.

Cut and serve, yummmm!
