Deviled eggs are a great little snack. Without being able to eat mayo I thought is there another way I could make deviled eggs? Well if I make mayo with just 3 ingredients, why not use two of those and create a new sugar-free deviled egg too.
Of course this recipe will work just as well with a sugar-free mayo alternative instead of the olive oil.
Quick sugar-free deviled eggs
5 mins
Serves 2
Ingredients
2 hard boiled eggs
2 tbsp Olive oil
1/8 tsp Mustard powder
1/4 tsp Garlic powder
Paprika to serve (optional)
Salt & Pepper to taste
Directions
Cut your hard boiled eggs in half and remove the yokes leaving the rest of the egg in tact.
Put the yolks in a bowl with the olive oil, mustard powder and garlic powder and mash together well until creamy. Add salt and pepper to taste and stir through.
Divide the mixture between the 4 egg halves and serve.
Sometimes I like to add in fresh chives to the mixture too 🙂
